Yes, I said it.
A 7-minute workout.
Reminds me of those 8-minute ab workouts way back in the day.
Can you really reach your goals if you’re only working out for 7 minutes a day? Well, if you have a lofty goal, I’d say you’d need a bit more than 7 minutes a day, but if you are looking for a maintenance plan or you just need to get some short workouts in, then this might be for you!
So, I found this app when I was looking for something super easy and quick to help me stay on top of my workout game. Long workouts are cool and all, but they can be kind of a bore and you really need to have a plan in place to make sure you can fit it into your schedule.
7 minutes is…well…7 minutes.
If you can’t fit in 7 minutes into your day, then you are a type of busy that I don’t want to be.
So how does this app work?
Using nothing more than a chair, a wall, and your own body weight, you can accomplish a daily physical workout. Seven guides you through the 7-minute workout, which is based on scientific studies to provide the maximum benefit of working out regularly in the shortest time possible.
What’s my verdict?
It actually gives you a nice energy boost and you actually feel like you got a bit of a workout. Of course if you are trying to get in a fat-burning, increased heart rate kind of zone, then you’ll need a longer workout – or maybe you can do a few 7s back-to-back. If you are already in OK shape and just need to work on specific areas or get your heart pumping, then give Seven a try.
All you have to lose is 7 minutes.
