[00:00:00.990] Welcome to Coffee Powered Systems, equipping women with actionable steps to overcome, overwhelm and streamline business and life. So grab your favorite drink and come hang out with me. I'm your host, Miranda Merten. Welcome back to Coffee Powered Systems, today is Tuesday, where I give you the skinny on an app or a tool that could be useful for your personal productivity. [00:00:26.060] And today I am talking about Storrito from the Storrito website: You can create and schedule Instagram stories comfortably from your desktop PC. So what is Storrito all about? This is actually a tool that you can use for scheduling your Instagram stories. This is great. [00:00:48.260] If you like to schedule and match your social media, if you don't want to have notifications to post, because a lot of the Instagram schedulers, what they do is send you a notification that your post is ready and then you click through and go ahead and schedule it live. That's good for engagement. If you want to go ahead and be on Instagram while you're posting and hang out for the next 10 minutes or so, if anything comes in, you can immediately engage. [00:01:18.470] But if you also would like to have a batch of stories ready to go and ready to publish on a schedule, Storrito posts set automatically for you without the notifications. [00:00:28.430] Storrito is also good for, if you like, doing Instagram stories on your desktop instead of on your phone. A lot of times when we're going through all those stickers or writing captions, it's just a lot easier to do those on your desktop. So that's why people like to use these third party tools to help schedule their social media. With Storrito, you can use their editor to add stickers and create animation tag. People include hashtags just like on the Instagram native application, but you have the pleasure of doing it all ahead of time. [00:02:07.190] Now, why would you want to do it all ahead of time? For instance, if you have a blog post or a podcast or something that you know that you need to promote, you can go ahead and schedule a batch of stories to go out at particular intervals. [00:02:22.250] Also, if you are going on vacation or you know you're taking a media break or a hiatus, you can go ahead and have those stories scheduled out ahead of time. So you don't have to worry about there being a lapse in your social media. So that is perfect for those types of moments. How much is Storrito? It is free for up to 10 past the month, which is good for light users. It allows you to still do some planning, yet also be spontaneous because we do want to keep doing spontaneous posts and maybe sharing other people's Instagram posts to your stories. [00:02:59.180] And if you're just wanting to try it out, 10 posts will give you a good number to try it out. You can use it for a couple of times a week and that is perfect. It is fifteen dollars a month for up to 100 stories per month or 100 posts per month. That's good for most people. It still leaves you a little room for spontaneity if you're doing lots of batches where you have maybe five or 10 story pack back to back for explainer videos and things like that, that'll give you a good amount where you can schedule those out, yet still show up live on stories and be active within your community. [00:03:36.320] It is sixty dollars per month for up to five hundred stories per month. Now, that's going to be good for large companies and corporations or social media managers. Or if you are managing social media for multiple clients, you can add more than one Instagram handle to your story, those account. [00:03:54.980] So that would be great if you manage social media for a lot of clients and you want to go ahead and schedule those automatically, because if you are managing social media for other people, you don't want to be alive and doing those on your own phone so you can go ahead and schedule those out to go automatically without having to post it with the notification. All right. So I will put the link for Storrito down in the show notes. That is a good tip for managing your time, especially if you like to batch content ahead of time. [00:04:29.270] Doing that for stories is going to be a huge timesaver, but only if you're good at batching. [00:04:34.850] If you're not super good at Batching and you don't have a template system set up yet, I would go ahead and recommend to get your system set up for batching first or else you're going to waste a lot of time trying to figure out how to batch your stories all together and then you'll end up wasting more time than you are saving. [00:04:53.960] So keep that in mind. And that's my tip for today. You can find everything down in the show notes. [00:04:58.760] Join me next time. Thanks for listening to Coffee Powered Systems.
