I am coming down off of an 18 hour fast and I decided to cap it off with a bulletproof coffee.

Let me know if you've tried something like that or if you are a fan of intermittent fasting or bulletproof coffee or what your productivity hacks are. Let's get right to it. We're talking about If This Then That also known as IFTTT this is a tool that brings your services together. You can find their website IFTTT dot com and that is where they explain that IFTTT is a free platform that helps all of your products and services work better together.

So what exactly is IFTTT? You can connect your appliances, your communication business tools, cloud storage, environmental control, security and monitoring, lighting, photo video and shopping. They are all connected by what they call applets and applets. Bring your services together by connecting your devices and your platforms.

So why I am bringing this one to you today? Not only is it useful in business, but it's also useful for things in your everyday life. And the applets that you use are going to be completely dependent on which smart home technology that you have in your home, as well as the apps and services that you tend to use in daily life. You can get started using IFTTT by connecting devices like Alexa and Google Home to appliances in your home that are connected with smart plugs and apps.

So for instance, you can connect your social media channels or services and you can tell it to tweet to Instagram as a native Twitter post. Or you can sync your Instagram's as a new Pinterest board. Those are some things that you can use for business. But if you want to use it for home life, you can also do things like connecting your iRobot to your location. So basically, when you leave the house, you can have your iRobot start cleaning.

You can have it pause when you receive a phone call or have it clean up the litter box as soon as it runs. If you have smart lights like WeMo or Hue, you can connect them to apps to turn on and off at a certain time. For instance, like if you want them to fade on or off at morning or at night to help you wake up, you can even have them turn on when the delivery drivers come or when your Uber car pulls up.
