There’s just something about the 1st day of December.

Even though we’ve been hearing Christmas music for 2 weeks and starting to see Christmas cheer everywhere, you can officially crank it up!

I’m working on something special for you this December — 24 days of … useful shit.

Ember Mug

Can you relate to the fact that your coffee is lukewarm by the time you finally settle in and get ready to work? If so, you might benefit from an Ember Mug. This smart mug allows you to set the temperature of your drink and it can stay warm for an hour (not sure who takes an hour to drink a cup of tea or coffee). You can grab one of these in multiple colors from the Ember website — or shop around for a better deal (like Amazon or Target). Note the one pictured below is a special color on the Bloomingdale’s website.

 

Bad Guy Blocker

OK, I think this is so cool because I’m always paranoid that someone is going to hack into my laptop camera and spy on me. My usual solution is to put a sticker over it, but it’s kind of a pain when you need to take that sticker off (not to mention sticker glue gives the camera a fuzzy haze). This neat little gadget pops right over your laptop/tablet/phone camera, and you can slide it open to use it or close it when not in use. So neat! What a great little stocking stuffer or add-on gift. Pick up a 4-pack for all of your devices or you can purchase a single one from Tech Candy.

 

Hu Chocolate

Rounding out part 1 is Hu Chocolate. There’s not much I can say except get it… you won’t regret it. This is my favorite chocolate and I’m definitely going to grace my friends and clients with these bars as a gift this year. You can likely find these in the gourmet chocolate bar section of your local grocery store, or check out all of the different flavors (so many flavors!) from Hu Kitchen.
